My Tumblr blog acted as a base through the recruitment process for potential participants to ask questions. I also used it as an act of public scholarship to keep participants informed on my progress and share the link to the official website for this research. It sustained prolonged engagement even after the initial recruitment phase. On this blog, I shared updates, answered questions, and gave a glimpse into my research process to explain some mistakes on the survey. This transparency is key with vulnerable populations, especially like the aromantic and asexual communities that face misunderstanding from larger society and within the LGBTQIA+ community.
